Walmart-owned -commerce platform Flipkart has appointed Seema Nair as the chief human resources officer (CHRO). Seema’s appointment has come almost a year after Krishna Raghavan resigned in October last year.
In an internal email, group chief executive Kalyan Krishnamurthy has announced Seema’s appointment.
“In this role, she will oversee human resources for Flipkart, partnering closely with respective leaders and HR teams,” he said.
Seema is joining Flipkart from Reliance Industries where she worked for more than six years, handling various roles and responsibilities including senior vice president. She also held senior positions including CHRO for India and SAARC at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages and Cisco Systems, respectively.
