G-P brings AI to remote onboarding

Global employer of record G-P has rolled out a new AI solution for onboarding, specifically aimed at improving country-specific compliance throughout the entire hiring and onboarding process.

The new solution covers offer generation, signing the employment agreement, managing all onboarding tasks, and setting up benefits, among other functions. It focuses on smart compliance, specifically real-time insights and support, and customisation of the onboarding process.

According to the official announcement, this new AI solution leverages G-P’s Global Intelligence Assistant (GIA), a generative AI tool which was launched last October as an advisory support supplement to G-P’s Meridian suite of global employment tools. GIA provides support for employment contract creation and customisation, self-service capabilities for employee profile updates, benefits recommendations by country, and country-specific and region-specific compliance support around job titles and descriptions, probationary periods and other topics.

Nat Natarajan, chief product and strategy officer of G-P, said: “We’ve combined G-P’s 13+ years of global expertise and technological expertise with the power of GIA, our global intelligence assistant, to deliver greater efficiency and compliance, enabling companies to scale and build teams in more than 180 countries worldwide.”

The new AI solution was announced on 24 June 2024, during G-P’s speaking session at the SHRM Annual Conference in Chicago.
