The Board of Directors, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Company has approved the re-appointment of Arnab Banerjee as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Company, subject to the approval of shareholders.
The re-appointment will be effective for one year on April 1, 2025.
Banerjee is the Managing Director & CEO of CEAT Limited. He joined CEAT in the year 2005 as Vice President Sales and Marketing. Over the years he has shouldered more responsibilities and has been the Chief Operating Officer at CEAT since 2018 prior to taking over his current role.
He has total experience of over 30 years during which he has worked in CEAT, Marico and Berger Paints. An alumnus of the IIT Kharagpur, Arnab also holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Certification.
In addition to the re-appointment of MD, the Board of Directors also approved the appointment of Praveen Pardeshi as an Additional Director in the capacity of Non-Executive, Independent Director of the Company for five years, effective June 17, 2024, subject to the approval of shareholders by way of Special Resolution.
