HR Tech Unicorn Darwinbox elevates its CTO Vineet Singh as Co-founder

HR tech platform Darwinbox has announced the elevation of its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Vineet Singh, to the position of Co-founder.

Vineet Singh was Darwinbox’s first hire back in 2015 and has been instrumental in building the engineering and R&D teams, which now boast over 400 members.

Under his leadership, the company has scaled its operations rapidly, developing a full-fledged Human Capital Management (HCM) suite with 15 modules in just six years. This suite has gained global recognition, making Darwinbox the youngest and the only Asia-origin HCM product to feature in the Gartner Magic Quadrant.

“We are thrilled to welcome Vineet as the fourth co-founder,” said Chaitanya Peddi, Co-founder of Darwinbox. “His vision and technical expertise have been pivotal in shaping Darwinbox into a global-standard enterprise tech product.”

Singh’s career spans both consumer and SaaS technology sectors, where he built products before joining Darwinbox. His experience has been crucial in architecting the modern HR tech platform, which today serves over 900 enterprises and is used by 3 million employees globally.

Darwinbox has grown threefold in the last two years and is expanding its footprint in new markets, including the United States and the United Kingdom.

“Being part of Darwinbox’s journey from day one has been incredibly rewarding,” Singh said. “As I step into the role of co-founder, I’m excited to continue driving our technology strategy forward, ensuring we remain at the forefront of HR tech innovation.”

Darwinbox has pioneered several industry-firsts, such as integrating with Microsoft Teams and launching the first HR-specific large language model to deliver AI-driven innovations to customers.
