Polycab India has recently appointed Ashish Kakkar as the Executive President and Chief Human Resources Officer.
Kakkar joined Polycab India in May from ICICI Home Finance, where he worked as CHRO for over 6 years. ICICI Bank, 3i Infotech, ICICI Prudential AMC, and PepsiCo India Holdings are other organistaions where he worked previously.
Kakkar is a business professional with expertise in Human Resource management for nearly three decades. His areas of expertise are management, transformations, organisation building, talent management, leadership development, and operational excellence.
Kakkar has a PG Diploma in Personnel Management and Human Resource Development (PGDM – PM & HRD) from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune; a Master of Labour Laws and Labour Welfare (MLL & LW) from Symbiosis Law College, Pune University; and a BSc from Naval Academy, Goa University.
