Visa has appointed Anand Jha as the new Vice President and Head of Government Engagement for India and South Asia. In this role, Anand will be at the forefront of Visa’s efforts to work closely with government bodies and regulators across the region.
Before joining Visa, Anand was the Managing Director of Government Relations at Blackstone for India and South Asia. He also held senior roles at companies like Heineken and Walmart India. Interestingly, before stepping into the corporate world, Anand spent nearly two decades in public service, working in various important positions within the Government of India. Sandeep Ghosh, who leads Visa’s operations in India and South Asia, expressed his excitement about Anand joining the team.
