Wipro CTO Subha Tatavarti steps down

Subha Tatavarti, CTO of Wipro, a global leader in technology services and consulting, has decided to step down from her post. Her resignation would be effective from August 16.

Subha has resigned from the services to take up other opportunities outside Wipro.

“Subha Tatavarti, Chief Technology Officer, resigned from the services of the company to pursue opportunities outside Wipro,” the company said in the filing.

Subha’s resignation is the fourth top leadership exit of Wipro since April 2024. On April 6, Thierry Delaporte resigned as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. He was succeeded by Wipro veteran Srini Pallia.

In May, Wipro’s chief operating officer (COO) Amit Choudhary stepped down to pursue opportunities outside the organisation. Sanjeev Jain replaced him.

Wipro announced the other leadership appointment on May 10, after the company’s Asia Pacific, India, Middle East, and Africa (APMEA) president Anis Chenchah resigned. Vinay Firake was appointed as the new APMEA Chief to spearhead an aggressive growth push across Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa Markets.
